All Gearboxes are shipped using a recognised International Carrier on the most economical rate available. This is usually a 48 hour service for UK Mainland, 3 to 4 working days to EU countries and averaging about a week the rest of the world. The shipping cost is calculated directly from the courier to give the best possible rate available at time of ordering.

UK Mainland shipping includes both carriages, to and from GUESSWORKS, non UK mainland is a single carriage from GUESSWORKS to the customer, the customer is responsible for shipping of an exchange unit, or shipping of their own gearbox to GUESSWORKS for reconditioning.

The Gearboxes are packaged in bespoke double walled cardboard boxes which allow for a suitable amount of impact absorbent fill designed to give the unit a safe journey and to withstand normal handling bumps and knocks.

Within the standard shipping charge there is an insured value of £50, this is generally not enough to cover the repair or replacement cost of a unit if damaged or lost in transit. The additional insurance is there to cover this extra amount. It is the customers decision to take this insurance and GUESSWORKS will not be held liable for any uninsured damage to a unit in transit.

The cost of insurance is scaled proportionally to the TOTAL cost of the gearbox including all shipping and exchange charges.
