- Guessworks Loyalty Discount.
- Returning custom ( loyalty ) discount is based on a maximum 10% of the previous order.
- If the current order has a value less than the previous order, then the discount will be 10% of current order.
- The value of order is based on the cost of parts and services only, this excludes surcharges, shipping and insurance.
- Repeat custom is defined as orders from the same name and invoice address and/or email address if purchased online via paypal.
- Orders placed online will receive a refund on the order, rather than a discount at point of sale.
- Ebay sales are not in scope to receive the discount, however, will still count as a previous order if that buyer then returns.
- Trade customers are not in scope for GLD.
- Guessworks reserves the right to withdraw this offer at anytime to any or all customers without prior notice.
- Terms of Sale
- All products remain the property of Guessworks until paid for in full by the customer.
- Nothing contained in the website constitutes an offer and Guessworks reserves the right to withdraw or revise the website and any other material at any time prior to their acceptance of the customer’s order.
- Whilst we at Guessworks endeavor to be helpful at all times Guessworks shall not be liable for any advice given by its employees or agents to the customer as to the application or use of the goods unless such advice is confirmed in writing by Guessworks.
- Guessworks are not liable for any extra charges incurred by the customer from Customs & Excise when shipping goods. Shipping costs are included on the invoice unless otherwise stipulated. Overseas orders are often subject to local import duties, taxes and Customs clearance, which will need to be paid for at the point of entry. These charges are NOT included in the price of the goods or delivery prices neither can Guessworks be held responsible for any charges incurred. All relevant Customs forms and documentation needed to ensure the order arrives with the minimum of delay will be included with your shipment. If you have any special requirements, please contact us to discuss them.
- Delivery
- Guessworks delivery policy is designed to give customers the best value shipment for the level of service required.
- The delivery charge given to you in the checkout process is based on estimated parcel weight and does not take into account the volumetric limitations of the dispatch methods available. Also some combination of parts (i.e. gaskets with brake discs) may require shipping in two separate packages to avoid parts being damaged in transit. Because of this Guessworks reserve the right to contact you with a more accurate quote for delivery once the items have been packed.
- Items are dispatched, by the requested service, within 1 working day (not including Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays) of the order being placed assuming that the products ordered are in stock and available for shipment. Gearboxes which are built to order may take upto 2 working weeks to be dispatched after confirmation of order.
- If some of the items that you have purchased are out of stock or unavailable at time of purchase then Guessworks will email you a notification of what parts are unavailable and ask whether you would like to wait for your entire order to become available or ship available parts only. Any delay in responding to this email will result in your goods being delayed.
- Please be aware that in the unlikely event that you parcel is lost you will have to wait up to 15 working days (3 weeks) before the post office will consider the parcel undelivered or lost. Guessworks will not dispatch a free replacement until this time has passed. If your order has not been delivered and you require Guessworks to dispatch the goods again before this time then you will need to order and pay for the goods again. When the postal service confirms the parcel is lost then Guessworks will issue a full refund for the undelivered goods.
- Warranty
- Subject to the conditions set out below Guessworks will ensure that the goods conform with our specification or, if there is no such specification then the goods will be within normal limits of industrial quality, unless second hand where no warrenty is available.
- Guessworks shall be under no liability in respect of any defect in the goods arising from wear and tear, neglect, failure to follow Guessworks instructions, misuse or improper alteration or repair of the goods.
- The warranty does not extend to parts, materials or equipment not manufactured by Guessworks, nor will Guessworks be responsible for third party removal and fitting costs of parts, the buyer shall only be entitled to the benefit of any such warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturer to Guessworks, and which we will in so far as possible, assign to the buyer upon the written request of the buyer.
- Any valid claim must be notified to Guessworks in writing within the warranty period (12 months for rebuilt gearboxes, 6 months for new parts, 3 months for refurbished gearboxes, no warranty is given or implied on used parts). Guessworks shall be entitled to repair or replace the goods (or the part in question) free of charge or refund to the buyer the price of the goods (or a proportionate part of the price).
- Returns, Cancellations and Refunds.
- Online payments which are made by paypal are subject to a fee, in the case of order cancellation, refund or return, this fee is not refundable.
- Guessworks reserves the right to also make an administrative charge for cancellations, refunds or returns. This will include, but is not limited to, bank fees, restocking fees and adminstrative costs.
- Any special order items MUST be paid for upfront and NO REFUND is provided on cancellation of order. Returns may be refunded subject to the above mentioned restock and admintrative fees, but may also not be refunded. This is the decision of GUESSWORKS alone.
- Now the UK has left the EU, those customers in the EU should be aware that there will be local VAT ( Import Duty ) and a fee to pay. Refusal of a shipped package will be deemed as a cancelled order and although you may be entitled to a refund on return the cost of shipping, return shipping and an administration/restock fee will be charged. Any special order items will not be refunded.
